Marketing and Advertising Agency Wins Award for Volunteer Firefighter Recruitment Campaign

Roanoke, VA - November 2016

B2C Enterprises took home a Gold Summit Award at the 2016 Summit Awards gala presented by the Blue Ridge Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America on November 3, 2016, at the Sheraton Hotel. The agency was recognized for their public relations efforts with the Cave Spring Volunteer Firefighter Recruitment Campaign. Because of B2C Enterprises’ strategic campaign, the fire department was able to recruit fifteen new volunteers and avoid shutting its doors.

“I think what I appreciate most about this award is that it recognizes the results of the campaign,” said Bruce C. Bryan, Founder and President of B2C Enterprises. “It’s obviously great to be acknowledged for good work, but well-done creative that gets the job done has an even greater significance. We’re very proud of our association with the local firefighters and excited our work made a difference.”

The PRSA Summit Awards recognize the best in public relations work in western Virginia while highlighting the creative and effective ways in which communications impact our lives. The Blue Ridge Chapter received more than 60 entries which were judged by an out-of-state PRSA Chapter. This was the association’s 20th award ceremony.
