National Recognition For Member One Federal Credit Union

Roanoke, VA - June 2014. - Member One Federal Credit Union won both Gold and Bronze awards at this year's Marketing Association of Credit Unions (MAC) annual meeting. Since 1986, MAC awards have been a major trade association recognition program for credit union marketing professionals.

The creative collaboration between Member One Federal Credit Union and B2C Enterprises, a Roanoke based marketing and advertising firm, was a success. In 2013, the "Carl and Roy" project was launched to recruit new members and expand loan generation. The campaign centered around two superheroes who, with Member One's guidance and assistance, were able to "save the day."

"It's clients like Member One Federal Credit Union who make the work so satisfying. They not only give you the platform, but push you to extend your abilities," said Bruce C. Bryan, B2C Enterprises President. "We work really well together."

In addition to the two awards, the credit union was also one of four "Macquee" finalists for overall effectiveness and creativity. To see the sample work from the campaign, visit www.CarlandRoy.com.

Member One Federal Credit Union is committed to providing solutions that help successfully manage finances. Originally chartered in 1940 to serve Norfolk & Western Railroad employees, Member One Federal Credit Union has grown to become one of the largest credit unions in the region. Today, Member One serves a membership of nearly 70,000, has assets over $600 million, and extends credit union services to more than 500 companies and organizations.
